What We're Looking For Solid experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of designing and deploying large-scale data solutions. Deep expertise in building and maintaining robust ETL pipelines, covering both batch processing and real-time streaming. Strong hands-on experience with real-time data streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, Spark Streaming, or equivalent). Advanced knowledge of data modeling, including dimensional modeling, normalization, and performance optimization. Proficiency in SQL for complex querying, optimization, and data validation across large-scale datasets. Experience using the R programming language for statistical data processing, modeling, or integration within data workflows. Solid understanding of Microsoft Fabric or equivalent modern data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake). Strong understanding of data governance, quality controls, and security practices within enterprise data ecosystems. Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably Azure) and orchestration tools (e.g., Data Factory, Airflow, or Prefect). Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with analysts, engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders. Strategic thinking and autonomy to lead end-to-end data initiatives, from architecture design to implementation and optimization.
