Role and Responsibilities • Lead Microsoftsecurity advisory and consulting engagements with customers • Engage customers witheffective communication to build lasting relationships • Planand design Microsoft security products and features • Developreference architectures, technical requirements, and configurations to supportimplementation • ExecuteMicrosoft security products and feature proof-of-concepts and pilots • ImplementMicrosoft security products and features in development, tests, and productionenvironments • Provideindustry perspectives, best practices, and security thought leadership tocustomers • Develop Microsoftsecurity strategy, recommendations, and roadmap for customers • Prepare andpresent recommendations to key stakeholders and senior leadership • Identify anddocument issues and risks to projects and develop recommendations forremediation • Develop projectplans and weekly status reports • Assist withproject management activities such as managing project team hours, expenses,tasks, and meetings Qualifications and Education Requirements • 5+ years of securityand risk industry experience • 3+ years of securityconsulting experience • 3+ years of Microsoftsecurity advisory and professional services experience • Azure Security • Azure Security Center • Azure AD • Microsoft Information Protection • Intune • Microsoft Cloud App Security • O365 ATP • Defender for Office • O365 Security • Azure ATP/Defender for Identity • Azure Sentinel • Microsoft Defender ATP • Defender for Endpoint • Active Directory • Azure Defender Preferred Skills • Strong knowledge ofO365 and cloud technology, security, principles and practices • Lead meetings withclients in order to discover existing business processes, advise on best-fittechnologies, gather requirements, and drive to client satisfaction • Ability to coordinatewith program manager to develop execution plans • Strong problem-solving skills • Intermediate knowledgeof process and workflow design and management • Knowledge of qualitymanagement, tools and techniques • Create and maintainsupport documentation • Document operational processes and problem resolutions • Process and workflowdesign Additional Notes • Position requires consistent travel • This job requires prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer; candidates must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times About Ascent We are a rapidly growing Professional Services firm with one of the finest leadership teams in the business.
