We are looking for a Sr. Reporting Analyst to provide comprehensive dashboards and reports that help our organization make data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytical skills and business acumen to distill complex data into clear, concise, and actionable dashboards and reports. This role involves developing, implementing, and delivering data reporting services including data preparation, analysis, modeling, and visualizations. Contract: 12 Months (Possible Extension) Employment Type: W2 (Without Benefits) Key Responsibilities: • Develop and deliver data reporting services including Data preparation, Data analysis, Data modeling, Data visualization • Support various initiatives such as: Fire Recovery, Quality of Life, Other organizational projects, create reports and build dashboards and data models, Administer the Power BI Platform Required Skills and Competencies: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Strong customer service orientation • Strong analytical and business acumen Basic understanding of: • Regression and association analysis, Identifying outliers, Core data analysis principles • Solid understanding of database concepts and organization • Effective time management and organizational abilities • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Highly collaborative yet capable of independent work with focus and self-direction • Attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality work • Ability to mentor and support junior analysts Experience Preferred: • 5+ years of professional experience implementing BI technologies and ArcGIS StoryMaps through data analytics and visualization • 3+ years of experience using Power BI to create data models, datasets, and reports • 1+ year of experience in administering: Power BI Service, Gateway, Capacity Administration • 1+ year of experience with: ArcGIS StoryMaps, ArcGIS API for Python • 1+ years of experience with: Databricks, Snowflake, Genie, Data cleaning techniques (handling missing values, data formatting issues) • 1+ years of experience in: Python programming and SQL (using sources like SQL Server, Oracle, and Postgres) Education Preferred: • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or engineering field (Additional qualifying experience may substitute the required education on a year-for-year basis) • Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Professional Certificate Trinus Corporation, a leading provider of technology solutions and services with over 25 years of experience, is a certified WBE/MBE/SBE/SDB firm accredited by WBENC, NMSDC, and SBA.
