Job description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Solutions Architect to create and lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level applications and solutions. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills to collaborate across teams and ensure scalable, secure, and efficient architectural solutions.Responsibilities: Design application and solution architectures, including systems integration and implementation plans. Define, document, and estimate architecture requirements for enterprise applications. Capture and analyze technical requirements for data, workflow, infrastructure (on-prem, hybrid, cloud), and system interfaces. Collaborate with IT teams and business units to convert requirements into robust technical solutions. Produce key architectural artifacts: estimates, system designs, data models, and sequence diagrams. Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and COTS products. Conduct feasibility and compatibility analysis for new solutions. Provide strategic consultation and technical direction to business units. Partner with enterprise architects to support roadmap planning and KPI alignment. Design and implement enterprise security and technology patterns. Advise on architectural improvements for legacy systems.Required Qualifications: 12+ years of experience in enterprise-level application design and integration. 12+ years of experience in Azure (cloud-native and hybrid architecture). 12+ years of experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) architecture. 12+ years of experience with integration architecture and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with SAFe architecture practices. Strong skills in API protocols and schemas (SOAP, REST). Experience in business/technical requirements gathering and process modeling. Knowledge of relational database design and data mapping. Competency with XML constructs and schemas. Solid understanding of software quality assurance methodologies. Excellent communication and documentation skills.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Spatial Architecture (ArcGIS)
