Job description

Job Summary: As a SQL Server Database Administrator at Diverse Lynx LLC, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and optimization of MSSQL 2016, 2017, and 2019 in Hosted and IaaS SQL VM in Azure. You will work closely with application teams and other stakeholders to identify issues related to MSSQL and provide technical support to application development teams when necessary. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure database performance, high availability, replication, scalability, and security requirements in both hosted and cloud environments. • Design and troubleshoot real-time MSSQL related issues. • Monitor performance on application databases, queries, and suggest/apply continuous tuning. • Collaborate with the Database Team Lead and other teams to optimize database performance and reliability. Requirements: • Experience with Azure SQL and Managed Instance databases in Azure. • Hands-on experience in tuning of database instances. • Ability to work closely with application teams and other stakeholders. • Strong technical understanding and problem-solving skills.
