Core Role Responsibilities - Responsible for securing inventory assets and inventory control - Maintain warehouse area in a neat and organized manner - Review shipments and advising management of shortages or damaged shipments - Properly and accurately process incoming inventory into our automated systems - Gathers windows, allied materials and special-order materials by customer project (staging). - Reviews manifest & cross reference against upcoming installation projects - Responsible for monthly inventory audits - Unloads/loads delivery and service trucks - Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting of various sized windows and doors. Extensive standing, bending, and squatting is required. - Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time - Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment Basic Requirements - High School diploma or equivalent - 1+ years of work experience in warehouse environment - Ability to lift 75+ pounds - Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet company insurance requirements Preferred Requirements - Experience reviewing manifests is a plus - Experience working in a CRM system, i.e., Salesforce, Dynamics, etc. - Demonstrated experience performing simple maintenance on home-improvement related projects - Previous customer service experience - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Ability to learn new software programs and perform basic inventory entry
