Title: Senior Data Scientist (Life Sciences) Azure/Databricks Location: Raleigh / Durham, NC (Day 1 Onsite No Remote) Type: Contract (W2 Preferred) Visa: / / H1B Experience: 10+ Years (Must Have) Job Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in Life Sciences and hands-on expertise in Azure and Databricks. The ideal consultant will lead end-to-end data science initiatives, apply advanced causal inference techniques, and operationalize NLP models within a large-scale enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities • Lead development and deployment of predictive & prescriptive ML models. • Apply causal inference/statistical techniques (PSM, A/B Testing, SEM, synthetic controls). • Build & operationalize NLP models (entity extraction, text classification, sentiment, topic modeling). • Develop and optimize large-scale data pipelines in Azure + Databricks. • Work with cross-functional engineering/business/product teams. • Communicate insights to technical & non-technical stakeholders. Required Skills • 10+ years of Data Science experience • Strong Life Sciences domain knowledge (MUST) • Azure & Databricks (hands-on) • Python, ML Ops, model deployment experience • Causal inference / experimentation frameworks • NLP (transformers, large language models exposure is a plus)
