Skills • Strong background in Linux systems • Proficiency in microservices and backend storage design • Knowledge of NoSQL databases and distributed systems • Experience with Azure cloud and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) • Familiarity with Databricks, Kafka, Event Hub, and other messaging brokers • Expertise in logging and monitoring tools such as DataDog and Splunk • Effective communication and problem-solving skills Responsibilities • Set up and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts for production systems • Deploy code in production and resolve issues as they arise • Lead production troubleshooting calls and drive solution improvements • Collaborate with product owners and developers to implement scalable applications in cloud environments • Ensure system health through proactive monitoring and alert triaging Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in the IT industry • 5+ years of software and DevOps engineering experience • In-depth understanding of computer science fundamentals • Proven track record of building and delivering complex, scalable systems • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an agile environment Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Education Requirements Credential Category • Bachelor’s Degree Experience Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps development and engineering • Experience working with Azure and Kubernetes technologies • Familiarity with databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL Why work in Seattle, WA Seattle is known for its vibrant tech scene, diverse culture, and stunning natural beauty.
