Windows Server Administrator 6+Month Contract Key Responsibilities On-premise and Cloud • Experience in Windows 16 servers at single or multi-domain platforms • Experience in Project Management, Deployment, Installation, Administration, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting of various Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications • Proficient in the following technologies: • Active Directory • GPOs • DNS • DHCP • File & Print Server • WSUS • Microsoft Clustering • Provide support to L1 team in: • Creating SOPs • Resolving issues • Completing daily assigned activities, including training • Experience with Microsoft Windows servers including: • Active Directory • Azure AD • Group Policy • DNS • DHCP • ADFS • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for: • Windows Servers • Active Directory • VMware • Citrix Environments • Design, deploy, and troubleshoot VMware ESXi Servers • Design, configure, and manage Nutanix Clusters • Design, configure, and manage Citrix XenApp • Technical expertise in Cloud solutions: • Azure • AWS • Familiarity with: • Monitoring tools • Networking concepts • Storage technologies • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to handle complex situations • Provide supervision and direction to team members • Collaborate with client and internal teams • Strong customer service, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Desired Skills • Programming: PowerShell • Experience in managing monitoring tools (e.g., SCOM, Nagios, or any other monitoring tool) Certifications (Good to Have) • Microsoft Certified Professional • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Experience Requirements • 12 years of IT experience • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Server administration • At least 5 years of experience with one of the following virtualization platforms: • HyperV • VMware vCentre • Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure • Should have performed Windows server administration activities • Willing to provide 24x7 support • Flexible to work in shifts Educational Qualification • BCA/MCA/BEBTech or equivalent Metasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
