Role Overview: LMC Consulting Group is a leading management consulting firm in the Pacific Northwest. We are seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Physical Security Systems Administrator to work for Microsoft’s Corporate Headquarters in their Global Security Systems organization. The goal of this position will be to manage and evolve Microsoft’s enterprise-grade physical security infrastructure. This role will oversee the administration, integration, and lifecycle management of platforms such as Lenel, Milestone, Genetec, and TEC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system hardening, access control, video surveillance, and compliance-driven security architecture. Location: Remote All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship Key Responsibilities: • Platform Integration & Infrastructure Management • Lead backend integration of ESRI, Everbridge, and Resolver platforms across Azure-hosted and on-prem environments • Manage Azure VMs, networking, and storage resources supporting these platforms, ensuring high availability and performance • Coordinate with internal DTS and Global Security teams to align infrastructure with operational and compliance requirements • Security & Compliance • Oversee certificate lifecycle management, including renewal, rotation, and secure storage for all integrated platforms • Implement and maintain secure configurations aligned with SDL, FedRAMP, and internal EGRC exceptions • Support audit readiness by maintaining logs, documentation, and system health reports. • System Administration & Infrastructure • Administer and maintain physical security platforms including Lenel OnGuard, Genetec Security Center, Milestone XProtect, and TEC integrations. • Perform system upgrades, patching, and configuration changes to meet operational and compliance standards. • Manage server infrastructure supporting access control, video management, and alarm monitoring systems. • Access Control & Video Surveillance • Configure and maintain access control policies, badge provisioning workflows, and alarm zones. • Oversee video surveillance systems including camera configuration, retention policies, and integration with access control. • Security Architecture & Compliance • Ensure systems are aligned with internal SDL and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, ISO 27001). • Support audit readiness by maintaining documentation and logs for access, system changes, and incident response. • Monitoring & Incident Response • Collaborate with the GSOC and regional security teams to ensure 24x7 monitoring and rapid response capabilities. • Troubleshoot outages and performance issues, including coordination with networking and infrastructure teams. • Project & Vendor Coordination • Lead or support projects involving system migrations, tool evaluations, and new deployments (e.g., transitioning workflows from GSTAT to Lenel/Genetec). • Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to evaluate and implement new features or integrations. Preferred Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in physical security systems administration or infrastructure operations. • Hands-on experience with Lenel, Genetec, Milestone, and related access control and VMS platforms. • Familiarity with badge provisioning, alarm monitoring, and GSOC operations. • Strong understanding of network architecture, TLS/SSL, and server hardening practices. • Experience with compliance frameworks and audit preparation. • Certifications in Lenel, Genetec, or Milestone preferred.
