As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a highly creative and driven IT System Administrator to manage the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring system security, optimizing network performance, and providing technical support to internal users. The ideal candidate will have experience in system administration, troubleshooting, and IT security best practices. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate with Managed IT Service to • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems. • Perform system troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose problems. • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions. • Create and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access control settings. • Maintain and update security protocols to protect against cybersecurity threats. • Maintain user access and permission structure. • Manage and maintain operating systems, servers, network, telecom & security equipment, personal computers, laptops, mobile devices, and other related technological devices and licenses. • Provide technical support and training to employees. • Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to optimize system functionality. • Document system configurations, updates, and procedures. • Communicate and work cooperatively with all staff and management. • Contribute to installation projects, infrastructure additions, solutioning, integrations, and identify opportunities for process improvements in technology systems Other Responsibilities • Perform additional duties as assigned. • Adhering to AlffCo values and professionalism • Weekends/nights may be required. Requirements: Qualifications • Associate's degree in: Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Proficiency with Windows operating systems. • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Knowledge of computing infrastructures. • Knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, and security best practices. • Network Installation experience • Hands-on technical troubleshooting capabilities. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex technical issues. • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. • Must be able to work independently under minimal supervision. • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills. • Ability to perform work safely. • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of people. • Must possess excellent organizational skills. • Must be able to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple assignments daily. • Must be able to work independently under minimal supervision. • Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding AlffCo’s daily operations. Preferred Qualifications • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate • Familiarity with Salesforce a plus • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices. Computer Skills • Quick learning ability for new database programs, proficient navigation of communication such as basic knowledge of Basic computers and phone knowledge, check-in and check-out of work orders required. • Salesforce and proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Teams, and SharePoint, a plus.
