DTN currently has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of Software Engineer in our Omaha, NE location on our Energy Development team. This individual will be able to design and develop new products and enhance existing products using a variety of development technologies. Responsibilities - Participating in understanding the requirements and collaborating in the design - Design documentation, prototype, code and test components - Partner with the QA team through the testing plans and execution - Support operational department and production systems as needed - Additional responsibilities as assigned by Technical Lead or Development Manager - Keep up with new and changing technologies and develop an understanding of how these technologies can be used to provide solutions. Requirements - BA/BS in MIS, Computer Science or related field (Associates degree with 5+ years relevant experience will also be considered). - Experience using web services to communicate with applications - Experience developing with .NET in C# using Visual Studio - Experience with Database design - Desired experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, jQuery, CSS, Unit Testing, WCF, Kendo UI, Angular, Typescript, Git, & Azure - Desired experience in Oracle - Desired experience in developing PL/SQL Stored Procedures - Adhering to best practices and standards in the areas of development, technology, and security - Skilled in analyzing product requirements and designing solutions accordingly - Ability to work independently and in a team - Excellent written and verbal communication skills DTN is an Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled
