Nature and Scope of Job seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Administrator with deep expertise in VMware, Tintri Storage, Cisco UCS servers, Cisco networking, and enterprise IT system administration. The ideal candidate will also possess strong project management capabilities, a proactive attitude, and be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. Primary Responsibilities VMware Administration • Design, implement, and manage VMware infrastructure (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi). • Monitor performance and ensure system availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery. Storage Management • Configure and maintain Tintri storage systems, ensuring optimal data performance and availability. • Manage capacity planning, backups, and storage tiering strategies. Cisco UCS & Networking • Administer and troubleshoot Cisco UCS server infrastructure. • Maintain and configure Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls. • Ensure network security and monitor network health and traffic. System Administration • Oversee the configuration and maintenance of Windows/Linux servers. • Implement best practices in systems monitoring, patching, and vulnerability remediation. • Maintain documentation of all systems configurations and updates. Project Management • Lead and support infrastructure-related projects including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations. • Create and manage project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables. • Collaborate cross-functionally to align technical solutions with business needs. Additional Responsibilities • Performs other related duties and assignments as required Qualifications • Proven experience with VMware environments, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter. • Hands-on expertise with Tintri storage arrays and associated management tools. • Experience managing Cisco UCS server infrastructure and associated technologies. • Strong knowledge of Cisco networking equipment (LAN/WAN, switching, routing). • Solid understanding of Windows and Linux system administration. • Project management experience-able to lead and execute technical projects from concept to completion. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Must be a local candidate with the ability to work on-site as required.
