Desired Skills/Experience: • Experience working in a similar Department Manager and Key Go-To-Person role for web based applications development, data collection, data quality, Data analysis, data reporting, data presentation and related Q&A. • Experience leading or managing a small team of SQL Server data reporting analysts and C# developers: hire/fire, scheduling, training/mentoring, performance reviews, etc. • Experience hiring and managing a small team of C# Dot.Net Developers while also performing C# Dot.Net applications design-architecture and coding; experience heading up C# Applications development with heavy SQL Data Reporting is preferred. • Experience with initial departmental Assessment-Analysis and Task prioritization for the purpose of efficiency improvements, departmental needs analysis, and overall Data-Department Work Process-to-task completion improvement. • Recent or Current C# Dot.Net hands on coding skills. • Recent or Current SQL Server or AzureSQL Experience (should be able to read and review SQL code with your team and write code if needed) surrounding Data Access, Data Queries, Data Research, Data Security, Data Queries. • Past or Current experience using a mixture of SQL Server, PowerBI (including DAX) and the MS BI Suite (SSAS-SSRS-SSIS) for data analysis and BI Reporting...Experience coding or managing developers who code in C#, JavaScript and similar tools for creating web-based data-dashboards and similar web-based tools for users is a strong plus. • Experience with formal and informal data analyses presentations to executive level management, department heads and other key stakeholders including explaining where the data is pointing, answering questions, objective 'data-only' viewpoints, relating data to business needs. • Experience working for a company in a regulated industry with Data Compliance Standards (SEC, FCC, DoD, HIPAA, PCI, PII or similar) is a strong plus. • A College Degree in Computer Science or a Related Field. Pluses • Specialized training in SQL Server, AzureSQL, PowerBI and/or the use of the dot.net stack. • Experience Leading the Migration to Azure (from Web based C# applications) • Experience implementing the use of Azure-Tools Deployments, release and configuration management. • An MBA or other advanced Degree • Experience, Desire or Willingness turnaround a busy/backlogged department and data team by using your experience, assessments and related ideas-recommendations-suggestions for data-reporting workflow improvements.
