What You Will Do As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing Azure-based multi-tenant environments for Department of Defense programs. Your role will focus on creating scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring seamless integration with other cloud environments. Responsibilities • Develop and manage multi-tenant environments in Azure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. • Design and implement Azure-based CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. • Utilize Azure DevOps services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and other Azure tools to optimize deployment strategies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployment and maintenance, including data engineers, software developers, and security experts. • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates. • Monitor, log, and troubleshoot Azure-based applications and infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related tools. • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC) and network security groups (NSGs). • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Azure infrastructure and DevOps processes. Requirements • US Citizenship Required: Only US Citizens are eligible for this position. • Clearance: US Citizens, our client will sponsor security clearance. • Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert). • Experience: Minimum of 6 years in a DevOps or related role, with significant experience in Azure environments. • Azure Expertise: Strong experience with Azure services, including AKS, Azure DevOps, ARM, and Azure Networking. • Automation Tools: Proficiency in Terraform and ARM templates for IaC. • CI/CD Tools: Experience with Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools. • Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash. • Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. • Security Practices: Knowledge of Azure security best practices, including network security, identity management, and compliance. • Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. • Detail-oriented: Commitment to delivering high-quality results with a detail-oriented mindset.
