Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Dynamics CE & Project Ops Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the configuration, optimization, and ongoing administration of Microsoft Dynamics CE (Customer Engagement) with a focus on Project Operations. This role requires expertise in customizing the platform to align with business processes, supporting end-users, and ensuring integration with other business systems. Key Responsibilities: 1. System Administration: o Manage the day-to-day configuration and operations of Microsoft Dynamics CE with Project Operations. o Administer user roles, permissions, and security configurations. o Perform cleanup, updates, patches, and system maintenance to ensure optimal performance. 2. Configuration and Customization: o Serve as a key contributor to a Microsoft Dynamics CE and Project Operations migration, overseeing system configuration, data migration, coordinating and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and delivering comprehensive user training to ensure successful adoption. o Design and implement solutions using built-in functionalities, custom workflows, and 3 rd party add-ons. o Configure and maintain project templates, task structures, and financial integrations in Project Operations. o Customize forms, dashboards, and views to meet business requirements. 3. Data Management: o Oversee data quality, migration, and integration tasks. o Build and manage dataflows into Azure and other integrated systems. o Develop and implement processes for data governance and security. 4. Process Improvement: o Analyze and map business processes to Dynamics CE capabilities. o Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement process automation opportunities. o Provide expertise in improving project management and resource scheduling workflows. 5. Training and Support: o Act as the subject matter expert and provide technical support for end- users. o Develop training materials and conduct sessions to onboard new users. o Troubleshoot issues and escalate them to Vendor or Microsoft Support as necessary. 6. Integration and Reporting: o Work closely with data and analytics teams to ensure integration with Microsoft Azure, Power BI, and Business Central. o Build reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights on project performance and financials. o Ensure seamless flow of information across integrated systems. 7. Compliance and Best Practices: o Ensure adherence to industry standards and company compliance policies. o Stay updated with new features, releases, and best practices for Dynamics CE and Project Operations. Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. Experience: o 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics CE, with at least 2 years in Project Operations. o Proven track record of configuring and customizing Dynamics CE for complex business requirements. o Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI a major plus. o Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 Business Central, and integrations. Technical Skills: o Strong understanding of Dynamics CE modules, especially Project Operations. o Expertise in system configurations, workflows, and plugins. o Familiarity in SQL, FetchXML, or similar querying languages. Soft Skills: o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. o Strong communication and collaboration abilities. o Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
