Job description
Position: Sr Application Developer Location: Remote, Local is a plus Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm Duration: Yearlong contract Pay range: $50-58/hr (some flex depending on experience) Job Description: The Senior Applications Developer is responsible for the development and support/maintenance of in-house web applications (C# .NET). Responsibilities would include creation of new applications (from planning/design through the implementation) and support/maintenance of existing applications, which could include application migrations, framework upgrades and feature enhancements. We're looking for a Sr-level app developer who is versed on migration of legacy .NET apps to modern framework. Along with that, someone who understands AzureDevOps and can work with CI/CD pipelines. This person will be customer-facing at times and will need strong customer service skills as well and someone who carries themselves in a professional manner. Required Skills: Ability to think analytically and solve problems; conduct analysis of alternatives, make recommendations, and issue resolutions. Act as a technical project lead as required based on activities/projects assigned Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to technical and non-technical individuals at all levels of the organization. Ability to work with minimal supervision in the performance of daily activities. Ability to understand and interpret technical manuals and system documentation Knowledge of overall computer operations procedures, operating systems, platforms, database management systems, languages, procedures, and controls. Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and best practices Experience Required: Experience migrating from legacy .NET applications to newer versions C# .NET MVC SQL Server Visual Studio AzureDevOps / Git CI / CD HTML 5 / Responsive Web Design Javascript / jQuery REST APIs Web Accessibility Standards • At least five (5) years of related experience
