Job Description e&e is seeking an Oracle Product/Functional Specialist-Procure to Pay for a hybrid contract opportunity in Washington, D.C.. We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Product/Functional Specialist with deep expertise in the Procure to Pay (P2P) process area to support and optimize Oracle Cloud ERP financial systems. This role will involve extensive business systems analysis, process optimization, and hands-on functional support The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience delivering ERP solutions and supporting full lifecycle implementations, with a strong background in Oracle Financials (EBS and Cloud), particularly within Oracle Purchasing and Payables modules. Responsibilities: Analyze, define, and document business processes, rules, and requirements in support of Oracle Cloud ERP and related financial applications. Lead the formulation of system scope and objectives through research, user needs assessment, and understanding of industry requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements and recommend business solutions. Translate business needs into IT requirements and functional specifications. Provide hands-on application support and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Oracle P2P process. Assist with software solution identification and implementation. Participate in data cleanup, conversion, and reconciliation activities. Support month-end and year-end close processes, including financial reconciliation. Create functional design documents for conversions, interfaces, reports, and extensions (CIRE). Review and provide feedback on design specifications created by peers. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and end-user training sessions. Develop white papers, process documentation, and solution recommendations. Build and maintain trust across business and IT teams through effective communication and collaboration. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). CPA certification is preferred. 12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/ERP environments. Extensive experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Expertise in Oracle Financials (EBS and Cloud), especially in the Procure to Pay process area. Demonstrated experience with Oracle Cloud ERP modules, particularly Oracle Purchasing and Oracle Payables. Strong understanding of public sector financial requirements and implementations. Proven experience supporting production environments and resolving functional issues. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint. Ability to write functional design specifications and support system testing and training efforts. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
