Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer Job Type: Permanent Location: Hybrid or Remote San Francisco Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 We are seeking a talented Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer to enhance our security posture and safeguard critical systems. In this role, you will focus on both cloud and on-prem infrastructure security, monitor security events, conduct thorough vulnerability assessments, and implement robust security controls. Your collaboration with engineering teams will be essential to embed security best practices throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement comprehensive security measures for cloud and on-prem infrastructures. • Conduct vulnerability assessments, scans, and penetration testing to identify and address risks. • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures. • Monitor security events and respond to incidents promptly. • Automate security processes within CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the SDLC. • Manage various security tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and cloud security platforms. • Lead security initiatives in network, endpoint, and cloud security. • Implement endpoint protection and cloud security solutions. What You Bring: • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or cloud security. • Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, and identity management. • Hands-on experience with Azure security best practices. • Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Terraform, or similar scripting and automation tools. • Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management. • Experience securing CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes). • Knowledge of zero-trust architecture, IAM, and encryption techniques. • Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or Azure Security Engineer) are highly regarded.
