Key Responsibilities: • Engage enterprise customers by delivering technical solutions, including architectural designs and rapid prototypes. • Facilitate architecture and design reviews considering both business and technical requirements. • Analyze, define, and document requirements across various technology facets, including data processing and system integrations. • Manage the planning and execution of customer projects. • Provide subject matter expertise to support architecture governance. • Collaborate with business, product partners, architects, and other teams to assess technical and functional requirements. • Occasionally travel to customer sites for solution implementation and relationship management. • Ensure adherence to company policies regarding development methodologies, security, change management, and compliance. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree • 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering and Systems Architecture or Technology Solution design • 2+ years of experience in creating solutions architectures in a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) Preferred Qualifications: • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology • 5+ years of experience in software engineering • 3+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect in large, complex organizations • 6+ years of experience in architecting, designing, and delivering scalable systems in regulated technology environments • 3+ years of experience with infrastructure management, databases, networking, and CI/CD Tooling (K8s, Docker, etc.) • 2+ years of experience collaborating with internal and external clients • 2+ years of experience with AWS implementations • Proven ability to influence and drive initiatives with technology executives • 1+ years of experience with data management platforms (Data Discovery, Classification, Lineage, etc.) • 1+ years of experience in Cryptography and Quantum Computing • Experience mentoring software engineers or architects • Familiarity with regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI, Privacy, etc.) • Strong communication skills at all organizational levels • AWS or equivalent cloud certifications Please note that Capital One will not sponsor new applicants for employment authorization for this role. The minimum and maximum annual salaries for this position are reflective of the pay range associated with this role and currently range from $175,800 to $200,700. These figures are applicable to all locations except where specific salary differences may apply. This position is also eligible for performance-based compensation, including cash bonuses and long-term incentives.
