The Global Marketing Engines & Experiences (GME&E) team is looking for a Creator and Production Lead to drive real-time storytelling, content execution, and creative enablement across Microsoft’s Commercial Marketing social channels. This role bridges creativity, production, and platform-native thinking -- helping shape how Microsoft shows up across social through agile content and scalable guidance. Equal parts content strategist, producer, and creative enabler, in this role, you will be be responsible for not only capturing and producing quality content but also building the internal playbooks and frameworks that empower employees, creators, and stakeholders to do the same. From executive thought leadership to event content and creator collabs, you’ll help ensure Microsoft’s social content is consistently strategic, on-brand, and audience-aligned in this role. In this role, you will also partner closely with creative leads, social strategists, internal creators, agencies, and business stakeholders to scale creative excellence and operational clarity across the ecosystem. Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end production of social content -- from creative concepting and mobile capture to editing, delivery, and publishing -- in line with platform best practices. • Build frameworks, toolkits, and guidelines that enable Microsoft employees and partners to create consistent, strategic, and creatively effective social content. • Collaborate with agencies, internal creators, and vendor partners to develop content for campaigns, events, and key cultural moments. • Capture and produce short-form content at Microsoft events and activations, including executive footage, creator content, and partner storytelling. • Oversee external creators and videographers, ensuring alignment with Microsoft brand voice and content standards. • Partner with social strategists and integrated marketing leads to ensure content ladders to business priorities and resonates with commercial audiences. • Own production schedules, manage shoot logistics, review footage, and provide editorial guidance across formats. • Translate audience signals, platform trends, and cultural insights into actionable creative treatments. • Drive experimentation in collaboration with analytics teams, leveraging insights to improve content performance and influence future planning. • Serve as a trusted creative partner to stakeholders across teams, helping them bring content ideas to life within brand and platform parameters. • Embody our Culture and Values Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years integrated marketing or related work experience • OR equivalent experience. • 3+ years experience in content creation, digital campaigns, or event-based production. • 1+ year(s) experience producing and editing social-first content across platforms. • 1+ year(s) experience with mobile editing tools (e.g., TikTok, CapCut, Adobe mobile suite). • 1+ year(s) experience creating and scaling content playbooks and creative enablement resources across large organizations. Additional/Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 5+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience • OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 2+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience • OR equivalent experience. • Experience in agency or in-house brand work. Integrated Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
