Please find the below job description for the same: Sr. SAP Basis Administrator Location: Houston, TX (Onsite work from the office) Duration: 6-month Contract-to-hire USC and GC are required for this role Exp:- 15+ Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Basis Administrator with 15+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration and expertise in S/4 HANA system administration. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP core systems, database management, and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS. Key Responsibilities: • Perform end-to-end SAP Basis administration, including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting of SAP landscapes. • Administer and support S/4 HANA systems, ensuring high availability, performance optimization, and security compliance. • Manage and maintain Oracle DB and SAP HANA databases, including backup and recovery, high availability configurations, and disaster recovery planning. • Design, implement, and maintain SAP HANA architecture, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security best practices. • Configure and monitor system landscapes across Azure and AWS cloud platforms, ensuring seamless integration and cloud security compliance. • Troubleshoot complex issues related to SAP Basis, HANA, and Oracle DB, and provide root cause analysis and resolution. • Perform system performance tuning and capacity planning. • Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure system stability and efficiency. • Implement SAP security best practices and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. • Automate administrative tasks using scripting tools for efficiency and operational improvement. • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior SAP Basis team members. Required Qualifications: • 15+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis Administration. • Extensive experience with S/4 HANA system administration. • Strong expertise in SAP HANA architecture, administration, backup & recovery, and security best practices. • Proficiency in Oracle DB administration within an SAP environment. • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) for SAP implementations. • Expertise in SAP system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. • Experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions for SAP environments. • Strong knowledge of SAP transport management, client copies, and system refresh processes. • Familiarity with automation tools for SAP administration and monitoring. • Ability to work independently and lead complex SAP projects. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) for system monitoring and administration. • Knowledge of SAP Fiori, Web Dispatcher, and integration with third-party applications. • Certification in SAP HANA, SAP Basis, or cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is a plus.
