Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Power BI Fabric Support Engineer & Developer to architect, develop, and maintain advanced business intelligence solutions. This full-time hybrid role is based in Jersey City, NJ, requiring onsite presence one day per week. Ideal candidates will combine strong technical expertise with effective business communication. Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree Key Responsibilities: 1. Power BI Architecture & Development • Design and maintain end-to-end Power BI architecture, including: • Data ingestion via Fabric Pipelines & OneLake • Semantic model optimization • DAX calculations and measures • User-centric dashboard and report design • Enforce governance standards and naming conventions. • Develop and manage enterprise datasets and certified dataflows. 2. Microsoft Fabric Engineering • Leverage Microsoft Fabric tools such as: • Direct Lake, Lakehouses, OneLake • Pipelines and Notebooks • Build automated, scalable data workflows for real-time and batch analytics. 3. Power Automate & Workflow Automation • Implement Power Automate flows for: • Report refresh and alert systems • Third-party system integration via APIs • Workflow automation to replace manual processes 4. Data Transformation & Scripting • Utilize Power Query (M language) for complex data shaping. • Manage report deployment, validation, and Azure or REST API integrations. 5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Communicate effectively across both technical and business domains. • Produce clear documentation and user guides to support solution delivery.
