Position: SQL Server Database Administrator – Exempt Level Position Becket & Lee, LLP, a longstanding leader in the bankruptcy community, has an immediate opening for a SQL Server Database Administrator to join its team. As the Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining the database environments, data security, backups, data analysis and documentation and communication. You will interface with IT management and firm Partners to drive and promote emerging technology. This includes staying up to date on the latest database technology and best practices. This is a full-time hybrid (onsite/remote) position. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the operation and maintenance of SQL Server 2016/2022 enterprise database systems • Monitor and control the database administration functions, backup/restore operations, maintenance jobs and schedules • Support 24/7 coverage of production system loads and operations • Implement and monitor approved access control lists of databases and applications • Deliver and control application deployments to test and production environments • Perform business-approved production data corrections • Support and recommend hardware and software requirements for optimum database performance • Support database developers for query design and index requirements to optimize application performance • Collaborate with the application development and network teams to design, implement and support the data infrastructure and environment of enterprise systems • Support Disaster Recovery planning, documentation and testing • Responsible to adhere to Database Security regulations • Responsible for database security changes • Responsible for database recovery Skills and Qualifications: • Minimum 3+ years’ experience managing and supporting a Production/QA/Dev SQL Server 2016/2022 environment • Expert in SQL/TSQL programming • Proficiency with the Microsoft development platform in a multi-tier enterprise system environment • Full understanding of the full systems development lifecycle • Excellence in the use of the supported tools for Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies • SQL Server, Visual Studio, SSIS, SSRS, TFS, SSIS, TDE, Replication, Power BI • SQL skills for monitoring and improving SQL execution through Execution Plan analysis • SQL Job Scheduling experience with System Center 2012 – Orchestrator a plus • Familiarity with Red Gate Data Compare, SQL Compare and Performance Monitoring tools • Excellent communication and documentation skills Credit/Criminal check and Drug Screen required.
