Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Infrastructure Engineer with 12+ years of experience in managing and optimizing Azure cloud environments. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity requiring onsite work five days a week in Hamilton, NJ. The role focuses exclusively on Azure Infrastructure—no DevOps, AWS, or GCP experience is required. Key Responsibilities: • Azure Platform Engineering – Design, develop, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure to support applications and services. • Landing Zone Implementation – Implement and manage Landing Zones for secure and compliant cloud environments. • Identity & Access Management (IAM) – Develop and enforce identity and access protocols, including Azure Entra (formerly Azure Active Directory) configuration and multi-factor authentication. • Azure Networking – Configure and manage Azure networking services, including Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, and VPNs for scalable connectivity. • Azure Services Management – Oversee deployment and management of compute, storage, databases, Key Vaults, and other Azure resources for optimal performance and cost-efficiency. • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Utilize Terraform or ARM Templates for automated provisioning and infrastructure management. • Cloud Infrastructure Operations – Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the Azure cloud environment to ensure high availability, security, and performance. Qualifications & Skills: • 12+ years of experience in Azure Infrastructure (not DevOps). • Strong expertise in Azure Virtual Networks, IAM, Multi-Factor Authentication, and Azure AD Configuration. • Hands-on experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools. • Proficiency in Azure networking, security, and resource management. • Experience working in on-prem to cloud migration is a plus. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work onsite in Hamilton, NJ (No Remote Option).
