We are seeking five (5) Endpoint Support Technicians to join the IT Platform Services team at client location. These technicians will support the 2025 Windows 11 Lifecycle upgrade and provide ongoing endpoint operational support. The position requires onsite presence with occasional travel between client locations. Key Responsibilities: • Support Windows 11 Lifecycle deployment, user assistance, and hardware inventory • Perform desktop and laptop lifecycle replacement services • Provide hardware/software technical support and troubleshooting • Support end users and manage user, hardware, and software inventory • Assist in conference room setups and technical support for board/committee meetings • Complete and manage ServiceNow tickets in a timely manner • Travel occasionally between SMUD locations using a personal vehicle • Collaborate closely with IT supervisors and other team members Technical Requirements: • Experience with OS lifecycle replacements (especially Windows OS) • Skilled in installing, diagnosing, and maintaining PCs, laptops, printers, plotters, and peripherals • Familiarity with Microsoft software products in a networked enterprise environment • Able to lift up to 50 lbs • Ability to work independently and in team settings • Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms • Comfortable with onsite user support and physical hardware tasks Mandatory Qualifications: • Must be available to work onsite at Client facilities • May be required to pass a medical and fitness-for-duty exam • Physically capable of lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs) • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle Desirable Qualifications:ac • CompTIA A+ or related technician certifications • Experience supporting OS lifecycle efforts and Windows 10/11 migrations • Familiarity with enterprise-level endpoint support, including tablets and user profiles Work Schedule: • Now – June 30, 2025: 20–40 hours/week (flexible) • July 1, 2025 – End of contract: 20 hours/week
