What You’ll Do • Develop and execute the Databricks Business Unit strategy to grow our Databricks practice, including identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with Slalom market leaders and driving business development efforts. • Lead delivery teams, providing guidance, coaching, and oversight to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction during Databricks engagements. • Deliver high-quality consulting services to clients, including leading workshops, designing solutions, and implementing Databricks-based data analytics and AI solutions. • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our clients' business needs and challenges, identifying opportunities to leverage Databricks and other data analytics technologies to drive business value. • Deliver hands-on implementation of Databricks and associated cloud infrastructure using best practices around infrastructure as code and DevOps • Collaborate with our global Databricks Business Unit leader and other regional leads to share best practices, leverage expertise, and drive consistency across our Databricks practice. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including responding to RFPs, developing proposals, and presenting to clients. • Contribute to the development of our Databricks practice, including creating thought leadership content, developing new service offerings, and identifying new markets and industries to target. • Develop and enhance reuseable intellectual property and solutions using Databricks to bring to market What You’ll Bring • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. • Proven track record with 5+ years of experience in data warehousing, cloud architecture, and data integration, with at least 3 years focused on Databricks. • At least 3+ years in a consulting role, demonstrating the ability to understand client needs, deliver tailored solutions, and manage client relationships effectively. • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, ETL processes, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Hands-on experience implementing the Databricks platform in a production environment using infrastructure as code and DevOps • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of data professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a proven ability to engage with clients directly.
