Our client is seeking an M365/Server Administrator to handle the planning, implementing and administration of their hybrid Entra/M365 environment. This person will participate/lead technical projects both on premise and in the cloud to meet company objectives. This is a hybrid role (3 days/week onsite) located downtown Chicago. Responsibilities: • Installationand life-cycle maintenance of IT hardwareand Windows Server licensing (servers, networking equipment, Server operating systems) • Monitors security compliance in accordance with company SOPs • Responsible for monitoring data backups and ensuring they are completed on a regularbasis • Provides tech-support that requires an on-site presence(server, NAS, networkor PC equipment failure), including data backup recovery • Familiarity with firewall administration • General IT supportand other responsibilities as assigned Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5+ years of relevant experience required. Microsoft 365 certifications preferred • Experience with standardsoftware applications including MS Office 365, Windows 10,11,Server OS 2016 and greater • High level of proficiency in M365 includingTeams, OneDrive and Sharepoint • Strong experience in Entra AD and Exchange administration • Solid working experience in Intune and Windows Defenderimplementations • Troubleshootingof computers and servers (bothon premise and remote) • Network knowledge of DNS, DHCP, VPN and Wifi (802.11ac|802.11ax) • Excellent organizational, customer service and communication skills and attention to detail
