Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join their fully remote team, focusing on building and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cutting-edge technology platforms. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and optimizing cloud resources. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of cloud-native technologies, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code principles. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes, enhance monitoring capabilities, and implement robust security measures across our cloud environments. This position demands strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, and the ability to architect solutions that support rapid development cycles. As a remote-first position, excellent communication and collaboration skills, coupled with self-discipline and the ability to work independently, are essential. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment and testing. Implement and manage containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) for automated provisioning and configuration management. Develop and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues in production environments. Implement and enforce security best practices across the cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability. Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency. Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems. Stay up-to-date with emerging DevOps trends and technologies. Document infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or systems engineering. Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). In-depth knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes) and containerization (Docker). Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet). Solid understanding of networking principles, security best practices, and monitoring tools. Experience with microservices architecture is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote team environment.
