Job Summary Provide high-quality service across the organization, furthering the IT team's mission to leverage reliable and emerging technologies and information resources to support innovative and efficient business operations. Maintain, upgrade, and manage software, hardware, and networks across the organization. Serve as main interface with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users supporting needs and special projects in compliance with relevant policy, regulations, and service agreements. Contribute to the overall security and service quality, and technology management and advancement required for organization-wide engagement and success. • Desktop Engineering + Support. Maintain a client-centric and consultative approach to all clients and situations (e.g., actively listen, confirm the need). Troubleshoot and resolve end user support requests related to hardware and software installation and support. Ensure full resolution of requests and issues, collaborating within team and/or escalating to higher-level resources as appropriate. Conduct advanced troubleshooting, building on lower-level troubleshooting steps, to identify and implement sustainable solutions and resolve escalated tickets. Partner with Shared Services partners to deploy and return computers and accessories in support of workforce changes/needs. Build and maintain technical and process documentation, manuals, and IT policies. • IT Infrastructure + Networking. Collaborate with team and vendors to support office migrations and physical moves. Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance according to requirements to ensure optimal performance. Address connectivity issues on computers and networks (DNS/DHCP). Upgrade systems with new releases and models. Develop and maintain required expertise to train staff on current and emerging technologies. • Cybersecurity. Implement and manage security measures to protect the organization's IT infrastructure. Administer required cybersecurity and compliance training. Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls. • People and Culture Development. Perform work and engage in support of organization culture and expectations. Establish and nurture inclusive relationships with colleagues and teams across the organization. Maintain accountability for ongoing learning and improvements required to perform job. Collaborate and take initiative to support the success and growth of self, others, and the organization. • Other duties as needed/assigned. Requirements Qualifications - Education and Experience Required • Associate's degree or certifications in relevant field. • 7+ years of IT experience as Systems Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role. • Help Desk experience in multi-office, national organization. • Proven track record of effective management and resolution of diverse and complex client requests. • Hands-on experience with hardware and software installations and break/fix solutions. • Experience with Active Directory and working knowledge of Group Policy Management. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Windows 11 and Office 365 applications (including MS Word, SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint). • Working knowledge of firewalls, virtual servers, switches, wireless routers, and VPN administration. • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service. • Flexible schedule to accommodate 24/7 operation including the possibility of on-call assignments. • Maintain confidential data. • Conscientious and flexible, with strong work ethic and problem-solving and team orientation. • Proficient and effective communicator (written and verbal) across various audiences and situations. • Ability to work independently, negotiating and prioritizing work to effectively deliver high quality work. Preferred • College degree in related field (e.g., information technology, software engineering, information systems, computer science). • Experience in commercial furniture industry, supporting applications such as AutoCAD, CET, 202CAP, ProjectSymbols, and ProjectSpec. • Experience as an IBM-I administrator. • Certifications such as COMPTIAServer+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or VMware Certified Processional.
