Position Summary The D365 Finance System Administrator will play a key leadership role in driving technical projects from start to finish, utilizing strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and the Microsoft Power Platform. This position will oversee platform upgrades, ensure compliance with SDLC standards, and support process improvements. You'll provide technical and functional guidance throughout all phases of projects, from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities • Technical Leadership: Manage technical delivery of D365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and Power Platform projects, including full deployment pipelines from sandbox to production. • Project Participation: Contribute to discovery, requirements gathering, testing, training, and go-live support. Serve as a solution advisor during design, development, and deployment. • System & Process Expertise: Maintain and enhance D365 F&O, apply platform updates, and recommend improvements to financial processes. Provide broad technical and functional knowledge of D365 modules and Power Platform. • Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively with team members, stakeholders, and executives to build strong relationships across the organization. • Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure alignment with SDLC standards, implement updates for D365 and Microsoft platforms, and recommend process improvements. • Documentation & Design: Develop clear, detailed functional design specifications. • Other Duties: Carry out additional responsibilities assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED required. • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, finance, or related field, OR equivalent education/experience (one year of experience equals one year of education). • Minimum of five years' experience as a D365 F&O Engineer or Administrator. • Strong knowledge of D365 Finance & Operations modules. • X++ experience required. • Proven record of streamlining processes and reducing month-end close timelines. • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to resolve complex ERP issues. • Familiarity with integration points between D365 and other financial systems/tools. • Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration experience. • Preferred: Experience with Treasury Management or other financial integrations within D365. • Preferred: Knowledge of ticketing/support systems for issue tracking. • Preferred: Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain vendor relationships.
