Responsibilities include: Work with senior team members to address various requests from portfolio management teams and other internal stakeholders. Analyze asset historic performance data, identify key drivers, and create business intelligence reports. Collaborate with portfolio teams to provide cashflows and analytics for various asset types. Contribute to the development and testing of the new asset modeling and analytics platform. Work with other team members to build investment-oriented applications to improve the efficiency of investment management. Work on various investment products and gradually focus on several areas based on the team needs and personal interests. 40 hours/wk; Monday-Friday; 9am-5pm; The expected annual base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $116,000 - $160,000.10. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, or a related quantitative field plus three (3) years of experience in a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years in each of the following: Working with relational databases, including but not limited to: MySQL, Sybase, or Redshift. Prior experience must include two (2) years in each of the following: Working in liquid and illiquid fixed income products, such as residential loans, consumer loans, and structured products, such as RMBS, CLO/CBO, or ABS. Applying programming skills in Python, with a focus on scalability through usage of distributed computing services, such as AWS or Microsoft Azure. Working with cashflow modeling software such as Intex and any related APIs involved with those software applications. Working with extremely large datasets that require specialized applications (e.g. 1010data).
