Network Infrastructure Engineer SUMMARY As a Cloud Network Engineer, you will play a key role in architecting, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient network solutions across our Azure cloud and on-premises environments. You will help drive our transition to a cloud-first, hybrid networking model, focusing heavily on Azure-native network services, Zscaler cloud security solutions, and seamless integration between cloud and on-prem infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Azure network architecture, including VNets, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, and related services, as well as practical experience deploying and managing Zscaler solutions for secure access and threat protection. Strong experience with Cisco Meraki and Palo Alto firewalls is highly desirable. While general systems experience is a plus, this role is focused on modern cloud networking and security technologies. You will collaborate with IT, DevOps, SecOps, and Software Development teams to continuously enhance our network infrastructure and cloud security posture. Your responsibilities will include customer network integrations, testing, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring efficient, secure, and standardized processes. You will also engage directly with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver outstanding customer and network support. Key activities include troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues across cloud and on-prem environments, driving automation initiatives, and contributing to strategic planning and project management. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential. This role requires quarterly domestic and occasional international travel. Required Experience • 4+ years of hands-on network engineering/administration, with a recent focus on cloud networking (Azure preferred) • 3+ years designing, deploying, and supporting cloud network services (Azure preferred), including VNets, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, NSGs, etc. • 2+ years of relevant experience with a cloud-based security service edge(SASE) platform in enterprise environments. Zscaler experience is highly desirable(ZIA, ZPA, etc). • Demonstrated experience configuring and managing Cisco Meraki and/or Palo Alto firewall solutions • Proven ability to connect, secure, and optimize multi-cloud and hybrid network environments • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis and cross-team collaboration • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences • Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform to automate and manage Azure and hybrid network environments. • Ability to write, maintain, and troubleshoot Terraform code for deploying cloud networking and security resources. Desired Skills • Able to work individually or collaboratively as a group • Strong communication and written skills.
