At WellSky Corporation in Overland Park, Kansas, United States Job Description The Sr. Software Engineer - .NET is responsible for design, development, documentation, and testing of commercial software programs for WellSky. A day in the life! You will be responsible for the following: Analyzing system requirements or specifications, translating them into actionable work units for the team to conceptualize, and developing high-quality software using the established coding standards and development best practices. Performing all commercial software development duties, including but not limited to technical designing, coding, and unit testing so that high-quality commercial software releases are delivered to clients in a predictable and consistent schedule according to WellSky development processes. Collaborating with solutions team(s) to define requirements, conducting analysis, and solving problems on a single product/service. Enforcing the development of unit tests, automated tests, and performance tests as needed to ensure quality, supporting general debugging and isolating areas for improvement. Capturing and analyzing performance test metrics and providing operational documentation. Preparing technical documentation, conducting, and participating in code reviews to ensure that commercial software code meets internal standards and follows industry best practices and the highest quality. Offering technical direction and guidance to other product development team members and assisting in managing development environments as well as installing and configuring commercial products. Do you have what it takes? Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Minimum 4-6 years' related work experience Experience working with C#, .NET, and Microsoft Tech stack Experience in designing and developing Web-based applications using Angular, Restful Web API, and SQL Strong hands-on and working knowledge of application development and SDLC life cycle process Proficient in debugging applications and performance tuning Nunit, Xunit, or comparable unit testing framework Experience with an Agile Scrum methodology Do you stand above the rest?
