Job Title: Azure AD Administrator Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite) Duration: Long Term Key Responsibilities: • This is an Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD Administrator role. • The person will handle administration, maintenance, automation, and ongoing support of AD and Azure AD environments for enterprise customers. • They'll be responsible for making sure identity, access, and authentication systems are running securely and efficiently. Core Responsibilities: • AD & Azure AD Management → Maintain user accounts, groups, policies, and permissions. • Automation → Use PowerShell, APIs, and workflow tools (like Microfocus DRA) to automate repetitive AD tasks. • Identity & Access → Support Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations, authentication services (AAD Connect, ADFS, Office 365). • Policy & Security → Manage Group Policies (AGPM), enforce security standards, and ensure compliance. • Systems Integration → Work with Microsoft Graph API, OData, JSON, etc., to connect identity systems with other apps. • File Systems → Support DFS/DFSR for distributed file and replication services. • Virtualization → Manage servers on VMware or Hyper-V. • Collaboration & Support → Work with IT/security teams, explain technical details to both technical and non-technical staff. Skills Needed: • Strong experience with Active Directory and Azure AD (must have). • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation. • Knowledge of identity management tools (MIM, FIM, DRA). • Familiarity with O365, VMware/Hyper-V, DFS/DFSR. • Strong communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. • Agile methodology experience is a plus. Ideal Candidate: • 5+ years in information security, identity management, or system administration. • Hands-on expertise with AD, Azure AD, and related Microsoft services. • Able to balance technical depth with communication and teamwork. • Comfortable working in high-urgency enterprise environments.
