We anticipate this position to start in April/May 2025* Job Overview The SharePoint Administrator shall work closely with SharePoint Administrators, Content Managers and end users to help address content management and site creation/modification needs as well as trouble shoot issues reported by end users and business clients. Responsibilities • Meet with customers to discuss and record information regarding requests, enhancements system problems, etc. • Gather requirements and information to perform proper development, maintenance and enhancements, or in performing testing and/or system analysis • Develop, maintain and enhance SharePoint content and applications based on the standards and guidelines set-up by office policy • Create and configure SharePoint sites, pages and web parts. • Provide training to government SharePoint Content Administrators and Content Managers • Provide end user support for the business units who own the sites • Conduct beginner, intermediate and advanced training sessions in the use of SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE) and SharePoint Online. • Provide follow-up support by answering questions, demonstrating SharePoint functionality, and working through issues with users. This sometimes requires collaboration with the infrastructure side of the organization. • Be involved with major projects and will be expected to carry out certain tasks to facilitate the use of SharePoint for a specific purpose. • Regularly update product news flashes documenting key support and operational information about Microsoft products • Provide and maintain a knowledge base of technical articles and troubleshooting tools and guides. • Manage support tickets through the web-based tool to ensure access and visibility of issues and their current status of resolution. Skills • A minimum of Eight (8) years of experience in Web, Database, and Application Design, Development and Implementation of moderate to complex systems. • Experience providing Tier 2/Tier 3 support for SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE) and SharePoint Online. • Collaborate cross functionally to resolve complex and basic SharePoint issues. • Experience developing SharePoint and SharePoint Online applications using custom Web Parts, custom master pages, features and site definitions. • Experience packaging and deploying SharePoint solutions. • Intermediate knowledge of the creation and customization of web parts using out-of-the-box standard functionality. • A minimum of 2 years of experience with SharePoint 2013/2019/SE • A minimum of five to seven years of experience in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline • Excellent communication and presentation skills Education: • Bachelor's Degree Clearance: • Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI Dorrean provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
