The Impact you will have in this role: The Lead Disaster Recovery Engineer is responsible for supporting DR exercises and ensuring a continual state of readiness to recover DTCC systems within the required RTO. This role requires participation in planning, implementing and executing DR activities according to company defined business continuity and resilience requirements. Primary Responsibilities: • Support the preparation and execution of DR exercises • Available to support and coordinate DR exercises on weekends 1-2 times per month • Coordinate problem resolution conference calls with stakeholders during disaster recovery exercises • Applies best Disaster Recovery Practices to all applicable areas of the disaster recovery process • Work with SMEs on the resolution of post-exercise incidents and problems related to DR • Actively participate in the design, management and versioning of IT infrastructure DR Recovery plans • Continuously collaborate with Business Continuity and Resilience, Application Development, and key IT stakeholders to maintain an effective and complete recovery plan • Work closely with peers to improve workflow processes & communication • Responsible for maintaining DR registration of critical support staff • Responsible for ensuring that all DR procedures are kept up to date to maintain a continual state of readiness • Develop working relationships with internal stakeholders, line-of-business management and business partners • Contribute to ongoing and future DR related projects and initiatives • Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately • Apply AI to drive innovation, optimize productivity and enhance risk mitigation Qualifications: • Minimum of 6 years of related experience. • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience. Talent needed for success • Proficient with Microsoft Software Product suites (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc.) • Strong written and verbal communication / presentation skills. • Strong ability to perform under pressure during timed DR exercises with senior management and regulators in the audience. The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
