Project Summary: I’m building a privacy-first SaaS product that helps organizations detect and prevent burnout. I need a developer to help securely access and sync data from users’ Microsoft or Google accounts—but only for verified paying users—and store that data in our existing database. This is NOT about scraping emails or content. We’re only pulling consented metadata (e.g., calendar usage, meeting volume, or availability patterns) to generate wellness insights. ⸻ 🔐 What You’ll Build • A secure service that connects to Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365 accounts (with user permission) • Stores and refreshes this data only for verified paying customers • Writes the data into our existing database, per user • Runs on a regular schedule (e.g., daily or hourly syncs) • Built with data privacy and user consent as first principles ⸻ 💡 Tech Requirements • Experience with Google Workspace API and Microsoft Graph API • Ability to securely handle OAuth2 authorization flows • Comfortable working with PostgreSQL or similar databases • Familiarity with serverless functions, cron jobs, or scheduling tools • Bonus: Experience in secure SaaS environments (SOC2-friendly practices) ⸻ ✅ What Success Looks Like • Users authenticate and approve access • System runs on a schedule, syncing limited metadata for each user • Data is tied to paying customers only (based on our billing data) • All operations respect consent, privacy, and security best practices ⸻ 🧩 How We’ll Work • I’ll provide access to our current database schema and architecture • You’ll help design and implement the sync logic + necessary tokens • We’ll collaborate via GitHub, Slack, and weekly check-ins
