Please note that our target candidate will work primarily on-site from our Omaha, Nebraska office. We will only consider telecommuters or remote employees for this specific position if they are an uncommonly good fit within the unclaimed property industry. No contract or offshore resources will be considered for this role. Position Highlights: MarketSphere Unclaimed Property offers a suite of unclaimed property services including audit defense, voluntary disclosure agreements, risk assessments, corporate asset recovery, and annual compliance. This position will be part of MarketSphere's Innovation Center team. Responsibilities: • Develops and supports custom applications to meet client and internal business requirements • Performs routine maintenance on existing codebases • Participates in code reviews, design reviews, or other forms of team quality assurance procedures • Unit tests code and debugs thoroughly prior to hand-off • Investigates and resolves reported software problems efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner • Follows and improves upon technical requirements when provided to build and implement new applications or enhancements • Contributes to solution designs by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code • Performs most daily work with minimal oversight • Proactively communicates status and risks • Protects operations by keeping information confidential and following secure development guidelines • Openly collaborates and shares knowledge with others • Regularly updates skillset by studying latest development tools, programming techniques and services; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Preferred Qualifications & Experience: • Demonstrated knowledge and experience (2+ years preferred) developing applications – preferably using C# and ASP.NET Core MVC • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience may substitute for a portion of the education requirement. • Experience designing and building rich UI web applications. HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript/jQuery skills highly desirable. • Familiarity working with SQL and integration platforms like SSIS and Azure/Fabric Data Factory • Experience publishing and consuming web services (REST/SOAP) • Proficiency with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps or similar platforms • Experience working with Azure Cloud Services (Web Platform, SQL, Storage) • Familiarity working in a collaborative Agile development environment • Exposure to building and supporting systems with sensitive data subject to regulatory requirements (HIPAA, GLBA, PCI, ISO, etc.) • Experience working with process and data automation tools and techniques (e.g., RPA, ETL, data integration platforms) • Working knowledge of state unclaimed property requirements is a significant plus • Experience supporting and enhancing enterprise software systems (ERP, CRM, BI, etc.) is a significant plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • Paid time off • Parental leave • Vision insurance Compensation Package: • Semiannual bonus Schedule: • Monday to Friday Education: • Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: • professional software development: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: • Omaha, NE 68154 (Required) Work Location: In person
