About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Solutions Specialist to join our team at ABBTECH Professional Resources. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical application support for one of our clients, a top 10 largest electric company in the U.S., headquartered in Long Island. Your primary focus will be on coordinating system requirements with technical resources, project managers, and customers at various levels. You will analyze current business processes, document process flows, and work with business stakeholders in developing business process flows. Additionally, you will utilize domain-specific knowledge to identify, specify, and analyze business requirements and processes. Key Responsibilities • Business Analysis: Develop preliminary and detailed business requirements, use cases/user stories, software requirements, and process/workflow diagrams. Gather and evaluate information from multiple sources for project planning, requirements gathering, and interpreting high-level information. • Communication: Communicate requirements and opportunities to all levels of the organization and to audiences of varying degrees of technical knowledge. • Project Coordination: Coordinate with different teams to improve productivity on tasks/projects. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science or a related field. • Work Experience: 8+ years experience working as a Business Analyst. • Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, self-driven, able to work independently with minimum guidance, demonstrated multitasking ability, problem-solving skills, and a consistent record of on-time delivery and customer service. • Additional Requirements: Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite, good understanding of technology platforms, and ability to explain technical concepts to business users in the context of business requirements. Preferred Qualifications • Utility Experience: Previous experience in the utility industry is greatly preferred. • Divestitures: Previous experience with divestitures is also preferred. • ServiceNow: Knowledge of ServiceNow is preferred.
