The Musco Information Technology Team is seeking a DevOps Engineer. We have office locations in Iowa (Oskaloosa, Muscatine, and Des Moines) and Denver, Colorado. As a DevOps Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain tools and processes for automation, continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of software. Work closely with developers, testers, and system administrators to ensure the entire software development life cycle is smooth, efficient, and error-free. What you will do as a DevOps Engineer • Collaborate with Development and Operations Teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle • Design and implement automation tools and frameworks for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment • Provide technical expertise in software development, IT operations, and DevOps tools and technologies • Implement and maintain version control systems, configuration management tools, and other DevOps-related technologies • Monitor and manage infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application development, deployment, and operations • Ensure compliance with industry best practices and organizational policies • Continuously improve processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity What you need to be successful • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, related field, and/or equivalent work experience. • 3-5 years of proven experience in software development, IT operations, or a similar role • Skilled in DevOps tools and technologies, such as GitLab and Azure DevOps • Experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS & Azure) and managing cloud-based infrastructures • Familiar knowledge of programming languages • A deep understanding of agile methodologies and principles • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams • Familiarity with security best practices and the ability to implement security measures in the software development lifecycle • A commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies • Provide occasional technical support during non-business hours • Travel in the domestic US or abroad may be required on an infrequent basis Who is Musco?
