Responsibilities: • This role sits 5 days a week in the office. • This role entails responsibilities of managing our diverse server infrastructure, networking, VMWare, and other critical business technology solutions. • As an integral member of the team, you will collaborate closely with the CTO, Engineering team, Data team, and other system administrators to identify requirements, build, robust internal hardware solutions, (support a wide range of technologies) and help manage and drive IT and cybersecurity policy. • Additional responsibility includes routing and prioritizing support tickets, ensuring efficient issue resolution, and optimizing team resources. • We are seeking a forward-thinking Systems Administrator with creativity and foresight regarding the evolution of our infrastructure. Required Skills: • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, MS 365 Cloud, MS Teams, Multi-Factor Authentication. • General Linux administration in an enterprise setting. • Experience with VMware vSphere virtualization. • Strong understanding of email flow and mail security, including routing, spam, malware, and DLP. • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.), coupled with experience in configuring, monitoring, and managing firewalls to secure corporate network, enforce access controls, and protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats. • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation and task scheduling. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Proficient in managing server hardware, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical servers, as well as ensuring proper wiring and cabling for optimal performance and reliability. Preferred Skills: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience working with enterprise-level IT infrastructure. • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure is a plus. • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible is beneficial. Pay range and compensation package $130,000 to $150,000 on the salary plus bonus and great benefits.
