Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join their cutting-edge technology team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your expertise in cloud technologies from anywhere in the US. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions. As a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into robust cloud architectures. You will lead the design and implementation of cloud strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for innovation in cloud computing. Key Responsibilities: Design and architect enterprise-level cloud solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Develop cloud adoption strategies and roadmaps for clients, considering scalability, cost-efficiency, and security. Lead the implementation of cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and database services. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct assessments of existing IT infrastructure and provide recommendations for cloud migration. Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security best practices, compliance requirements, and industry standards. Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and procedures. Optimize cloud resource utilization for cost savings and performance improvements. Evaluate and integrate new cloud technologies and services to enhance existing solutions. Troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues and provide timely resolutions. Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, trends, and vendor offerings. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 4 years focused on cloud architecture and design. Proven experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts, security best practices, and identity management. Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is highly desirable.
