We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our Philadelphia, PA office. Essential Functions: • VMware: • Administer and maintain VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter server. • Monitor and optimize network performance, high availability, and security. • Configure and manage virtual switches, VLANs, and network policies within VMware. • Perform routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades of virtual infrastructure. • On-Prem, Cloud Maintenance & Admin: • Perform operating system patches and hardware firmware updates on Windows Servers, EMC SAN and various applications, with some updates needing to occur outside normal business hours • Maintain Active Directory including DNS, DFS, DHCP, Azure AD Connect • Ensure Veeam / Exagrid backups are always current for all sites • Create shares, unlock accounts, maintain o365 distribution lists, etc. • Maintain Azure user provisioning to Egnyte, configuration settings in Egnyte and Egnyte permissions • Maintain identity & access management, authentication methods, conditional access policy & external guests in Microsoft Entra Admin Center • Maintain Azure Role-Based access controls (RBAC) • Administer and setup SSO for cloud applications • Security Monitoring: • Maintain on-prem network monitoring platform and respond to alerts • Respond to and share responsibility for after-hour response to Azure alerts and security threats • Monitor anti-virus and anti-phishing systems, identifying threats • Maintain and monitor Cisco Umbrella & Cisco Cloud Analystics (Stealthwatch) • Raise and assist with Telco tickets, after hours as needed to ensure network uptime • Coordinate vendor’s annual penetration testing • Maintain decoy accounts and honeypots • Assist in remediation of security vulnerabilities • Monitor security bulletins for zero day and emerging threats • Work with our Network Engineer in Azure Networking configuration • Craft end-user phishing awareness campaigns • Remote Offices: • Plan and execute periodic server refreshes at remote offices - specify/order equipment, travel to, install, migrate data, etc. • Assist Network Engineer at remote offices for periodic upgrades of networking gear • Maintain UPS hardware, configuration and notifications across all sites • Miscellaneous: • Develop Power Automate flows and PowerShell scripts to automate and optimize efficiency • Provide level 3 support and technical guidance to level 1 & 2 techs for end-user application and network issues • Create and maintain documentation for IT Procedures and end-user instructions • Assist with Disaster Recovery planning, simulations and training staff for incident response • Other duties as assigned Requirements Required Education and Experience: • 10+ years of relevant experience • Experience with implementing and supporting VMware • Experience with implementing and supporting Windows Server • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Azure • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills • Must be available to participate in off-hours on call duty • 20% travel may be required Preferred Education and Experience: • VMWare Certified Technical Associate (VCTA) • Azure AZ-900, AZ-104, MS-102, AZ-500, SC-300 • AZ-800, AZ-801 • CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA Benefits of Working at EwingCole Generous paid time off, 401(k) plan with company match, tuition reimbursement, flexible/hybrid work options, paid parental leave, excellent insurance offerings including medical, dental, vision, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, identity protection and more.
