Virginia State Parks is accepting applications for an Office Services Specialist. Job Summary: This position will assist Virginia State Parks Professional Development Coordinator with administrative functions to ensure our program's success. Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Complete monthly budget tracking and reconciliation for multiple cost centers. This includes completing and submitting journal entries and reconciliation reports to the DCR Finance section. • Annually enters budget figures into the Financial Reporting System for multiple cost centers. • Complete and process necessary travel pre-approval forms and reimbursement forms for the staff attending division training, professional development, and conferences that are centrally funded. May assist staff in completing these forms. • Complete registration for staff attending centrally funded training, professional development and conference events. • Complete procurements in Electronic Virginia (eVA) related to centrally funded training & professional development items. • Assist with the coordination of Division training events and corporate meetings (examples – printing/preparing materials, creating lodging lists, creating methods for registering, and other support functions). • Perform additional administrative duties to support the training and professional development programs of the Division.
