The person in this position will perform the following Job Duties: • Assign the composition and structure of the organization's network based on tasks and current business processes. • Evaluate network efficiency to promptly identify issues and adjust network configurations. • Establish a VPN connection between remote offices and the main company headquarters. • Provide technical assistance for the organization's server infrastructure, promptly applying operating system patches, updates, and remedies. • Monitor the server status, monitor server performance and adjust server parameters to ensure maximum performance. • Maintain the virtualization environment, create new virtual machines, monitor the performance of the environment and redistribute resources between individual virtual machines in time. • Coordinate, structure, and manage how users interact with applications that are hosted in a cloud environment. • Design, develop and execute infrastructure and data migration processes to outside cloud systems • Define a strategy, create and manage and monitor a backup system. Recover lost data. • Assist users in accessing the computer interface and using the software. • Maintain the workability of user hardware and software. • Maintain user hardware and software remain functional and collaborate with vendors for technical support. • React to requests from employees and find solutions for various technical problems, including problems with Internet access, software errors or equipment malfunctions. • Maintain equipment such as computers, monitors, keyboards, mice, other peripherals and computer components in working order. Update obsolete hardware, replace faulty components such as HDD, RAM, etc. • Manage user accounts, permissions and group policies, control user access. • Configure security settings for firewalls and virus protection systems, data encryption systems, eliminate vulnerabilities. • Create and submit functional and technical project documents that transform business requirements into workable solutions. Employment Type /Hours: Full Time Position. Candidate requirements: Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer and information technology or a related field, such as engineering Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the following: • Working with computer networks including skills related to the design, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer networks. • Building virtual private networks with OpenVPN technology and setting up both the OpenVPN server and client configurations. This includes working with configuration files, selecting the appropriate encryption methods, and setting up authentication mechanisms. • Server Installation and Configuration "Windows Server" and configuring server roles and features. • Technical support of Dell server equipment, including using Dell's diagnostic utilities and tools to troubleshoot hardware issues, such as the Dell Systems Management Tools and Dell's iDRAC (integrated Dell Remote Access Controller), keeping the server's firmware and BIOS updated to the latest versions • Orchestrating and executing infrastructure transitions to the cloud. • Utilizing Microsoft's virtualization solution "Hyper-V", including setting up new VMs, configuring their hardware settings, transferring running VMs from one host to another without any downtime. • Windows Server Backup system, including knowledge of backup procedures, data recovery, scheduling backup tasks, as well as the ability to solve problems associated with this process. • Implementing features like multi-factor authentication, integrating with LDAP/Active Directory for user management, or setting up a kill switch. • Setting up Mobile Remote Workstations, choosing and setting up the right mobile hardware, installing all necessary software, applications, and tools that users would need to carry out their work remotely. • Setting up and tailoring Dell Wyse (or similar) thin client devices to connect and operate within a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment. • Creating, modifying, and assigning GPOs in the Group Policy Management Console (GPMC), structuring and managing OUs in Active Directory to effectively apply policies to specific groups of users or computers. • Working with IPtables firewall systems to ensure network and system security, controlling traffic flow, preventing unauthorized access. • Planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, testing, and optimization IT infrastructure of an organization. • Working with antivirus systems solutions, including server antivirus, endpoint antivirus, anti-spam mail filter.
