Our client, a manufacturing organization, located in Lebanon, TN; is in need of a full-time Data Engineer II. Their ideal candidate will be a seasoned Data Engineer with expertise in ETL (especially ETL Workflows), SQL, and Data Ability. The pay range for this role is $50-$60 an hour (benefits included). This role is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented data engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a strong grasp of ETL workflows and data integration. As a Data Engineer II, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines that are reliable, scalable, and well-documented. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders, to deliver data-driven solutions that support business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows. - Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems. - Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver robust data solutions. - Develop and optimize data structures, both existing and new. - Provide guidance to junior data engineers and participate in code reviews. - Stay current on data engineering tools, frameworks, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field. - 3–5 years of professional experience in data engineering or a related discipline. - Proficient in SQL (must-have). - Experience with ETL processes and data integration workflows. - Exposure to cloud environments (Azure preferred) is a strong plus. - Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, ADF, or C# (Python is a plus but not required). - Understanding of big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and modern data architecture (e.g., Data Lake, Synapse, MS Fabric) is beneficial. - Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
