Our Client Architects work consultatively with our clients and our partners to understand our customers' business and capture their needs. You will deliver compelling and targeted customer presentations that demonstrate how CData can add value to our customers by delivering on their future state architecture. You will work in close collaboration with your peers in the Solutions Engineering, Sales, Product, Customer Success and Marketing teams. This position requires a deep understanding of the Data integration space to be able to guide our strategic accounts on their Data Architecture that is powered by CData's product portfolio. You will be communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences. Location(s): East Coast (preferred) Key Responsibilities Act as the trusted technical advisor for enterprise clients, understanding their data integration challenges and business objectives Lead architectural design sessions and workshops to define optimal data connectivity solutions Provide strategic guidance on data integration best practices, governance, and scalability Present technical solutions and recommendations to C-level executives and technical stakeholders Design comprehensive data integration architectures using CData's connectivity platform Create detailed technical specifications, solution blueprints, and implementation roadmaps Evaluate client environments and recommend appropriate CData products and configurations Collaborate with Solution Engineers to deliver compelling product presentations, demonstrations and proof-of-concepts to validate proposed solutions Lead complex technical discussions Collaborate with engineering teams to influence product roadmap based on client and industry needs Mentor junior team members and share architectural best practices across the organization Stay current with emerging data integration technologies and industry trends Ensure successful implementation and adoption of CData solutions within client environments Identify expansion opportunities and drive technical wins that lead to account growth Work closely with sales teams to support the technical aspects of new business opportunities Participate in industry conferences, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in enterprise software, with focus on data integration, architecture, ETL/ELT, or data management Deep understanding of data connectivity protocols (ODBC, JDBC, REST, OData, GraphQL) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid architectures Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database technologies (relational and NoSQL) Knowledge of integration patterns and middleware technologies Proven track record of working with enterprise clients and managing complex technical relationships Excellent presentation and communication skills, with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences Experience in consultative selling or technical advisory roles Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously Understanding of data governance, compliance, and security requirements Familiarity with business intelligence, analytics, and data warehousing concepts Experience with popular data integration tools and platforms Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, etc.) Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related technical field Experience with CData products or similar data connectivity solutions is a plus Background in enterprise software sales or customer success Industry certifications in cloud platforms or data management technologiesTravel Requirements Travel Required: This role requires approximately 10% travel to client sites, industry events, and company meetings.Benefits 11 Paid Holidays 20 Days of PTO Employer-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision plans (100% for employee, 50% for dependents) HSA with Company Contribution Employee Assistance Program 401k with 6% Immediately Vested Company Match Professional development opportunities This role can be based in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, or Virginia.
