Duration: contract 6+ months with option to hire Interviews: one virtual interview and one onsite interview Location: Houston, TX (hybrid – 2 days onsite/3 days remote) Minimum Requirements & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • 8+ years of progressive experience in system administration, including at least 5 years managing Microsoft Azure environments Microsoft certifications preferred: o Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Preferred) o Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (Preferred) o Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (Preferred) o ITIL or other enterprise IT framework experience is a plus Competencies: • Proven leadership in infrastructure strategy, implementation, and lifecycle management • Advanced expertise in Azure IaaS/PaaS/SaaS and hybrid cloud deployments • Strong background in Windows Server ecosystem, including Active Directory and Microsoft enterprise tools • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation frameworks • Deep understanding of cloud security principles and compliance standards • Experience with monitoring and performance tuning using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable solutions • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills • Experience operating within ITIL-based service management environments
