Role: Project Manager II - Power Automate Location: Austin, TX (Remote with Some Onsite Required) Type: Contract | Domain: Public Sector, Energy & Utilities About the Project: · We are supporting one of our clients in the public utilities sector in identifying a skilled Power Automate Project Manager II for a critical project under the Resiliency-as-a-Service (RaaS) program. This initiative, mandated by TX Senate Bill 398, empowers Austin Energy to manage distributed energy resources (DERs) for commercial and industrial customers while ensuring real-time coordination with ERCOT systems. · This position plays a key role in developing a Microsoft Power Automate-based project tracking system, supporting system integration across various platforms and ensuring reliable data exchange across operational and regulatory frameworks. Core Responsibilities: · Develop and implement a Microsoft Power Automate project tracking system for end-to-end RaaS program tracking—from intake to permission to operate. · Integrate the RaaS tracking tool with existing IT systems including: · Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS) · Generation Management Systems (GMS) · ERCOT metering and reporting platforms · Create automated workflows with notifications for relevant business units at various project stages. · Support coordination with AE metering, AE IT, and generation vendors to ensure seamless status communication with ERCOT. · Participate in limited onsite testing for communication equipment validation. · Contribute to overall IT system integration and QA efforts related to DER grid interconnections. Required Skills: · 4–7 years of experience in IT, systems integration, or related areas. · System integration and delivery · Project execution with minimal supervision · Developing Power Automate-based tracking or workflow systems · Ability to interface across departments and with external vendors. · Creative, independent problem solver capable of managing tasks with clear timelines.
